"Prachongsilp" is the meticulous creation of colorsPrachongsilp Acrylic Matt Colors are formulated to raflect the color palette of traditional Thai colors that were derived from natural pigments.Researched and developed to have similar characteristics as traditional Thai powder colors that were made from nature such as rocks, leaves and flowers. It is the fruitful collaboration between Silpakorn University (Thailand's leading Fine Art University) and Nan Mee Industry Co., Ltd. (Thailand's leading arts materials manufacturer) under the "Production of Paints for Conservation of Artwork from Natural Materials" project supported by National Innovation Agency.
The color range provides artist convenience and a versatile paint technology suitable for various artistic pueposes ranging form restoration or creation of mural paintings, traditional Thai painting and contemporary paintings. The colors are easily brushed out with high covering power, suitable for painting on a variety of surfaces such as canvas, leather, metal, paper, plastic, wood, cement floor and coated surface with tamarind seed's glue and white clay.
Prachongsilp Acrylic Matt Colors are Certified non-toxic.The CE EN71/3 mark on each of its packaging shows that the products have had a toxicological evaluation by an established laboratory to contain no material in suffcient quantities to be toxic or injurious to human or to cause acute or chronic health problems.
Prachongsilp Acrylic Matt Colors have been tested on light fastness according to the International Blue Wool Standards to ensure that they are resistant to ultraviolet light for more than 50 years. In addition, they are formulated to be resistant to hot and humid weather conditions.
